I know just about everybody wants a 1972 Scenario for President Forever 2008 + Primaries, including myself, So I'm starting one. If anybody has any suggestions or comments, please post them here.

So Far here are the candidates:

Republicans:
President Richard Nixon
Congressman John Ashbrook

Democratic:
Senator Hubert Humphrey
Senator Edmond Muskie
Governor George Wallace
Senator George McGovern
Senator Terry Sanford
Congresswoman Shirley Chrisholm
Mayor Sam Yorty
Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson
Mayor John Lindsay

I was thinking at the initial polls being 52% Republican, and 42% Democratic, so it's not impossible for a Democrati to win, but still hard.
