With whom? It would likely alineate some black and/or female voters.
She isn´t the best candidate, but replacing VPs isn´t normal. The last time it happened, it was Henry Wallace and Harris doesn´t have his baggage of weaknesses.

Because Dems like identity politics, the silly old fool is stuck with his affirmative action running mate.

Harris is a massive drag on a very unpopular ticket, and a huge liability. But Joe due to his poor political instincts is stuck with her!

Republicans like white identity politics so much they nominated a rapist.
