On the Jerusalem

Lowlife criminals that launched a treacherous attack of the holy city of three faith does not deserve to be called Christians, as they betrayed everything Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) teached and died for. The savage destruction of the Al Buraq showed their true Pagan face to the people of Jerusalem and the wide world. The earthly form of the Holy Wall might be destroyed, but whenever its name is invoked, it shall remind us and the world of what all Ottomans stood for and defended so fericiously.

There is no stronger testimony toward the Ottoman idea of the people of three Abrahamic faiths living together in peace and mutual respect than Jerusalem Muslims, Christian and Jews rising together against barbarians and vanquishing them. Let's it be known all attempts to pit the Peoples of the Book against each other shall result only in bitter tears for such agressors.

On Persia

Even the Sultan's abudant patience must ran out at some point, as it just happen with Persia. Following months of schemes by the former Shah, who was alternatively attempting to force the Ottoman State into his war to reverse his desperate situation, and to use said distraction to expand on the west, using Oman as a platform to launch his crusade. We have no reason to believe Oman was in any part knowing conspirator and accordingly we shall respect its independence.

On Venice

The Sublime Porte remains committed to help our Venetian friends recover from the war forced upon them by mad Sardinian heretics. Any aid the legitimate government of the Most Serene would ask for shall be given with no second thoughts.

On Assassinations

His Sacred and Imperial Majesty the Sultan once again asks His Imperial Majesty Joseph II to refrain, in the common interest of all European powers, from making definitive accusations without an unbeatable proof. The Ottoman-Austrian relationships improved significantly over recent months and we are determined not to let this be in vain.

On the Ex-Shah's Demise

Although the Sultan is not pleased with one of his vessels being attacked, He has no reason to believe it was anything else than a local mob going mad. With no Ottoman personel harmed, He shall consider it an unfortunate event that shall not affect our relations with the Divine Emperor of China.

On the Jerusalem

The day crusaders were crushed by the people of Jerusalem shall become a national holiday.

Remains of the Wall, known to Muslim as the Buraq and to Jews as Kotel, shall be preserved as a monument for the posterity to learn from the people of three Abrahamic faiths standing together against foreign aggression. Jewish and Muslim communities of Jerusalem shall assume joint administration of this national shrine, alternating every two months, showing the world the denominations can work together in peace as well.

On Oman

The Sultan has no reason to believe Oman was being in any was complicit with the Safavid schemes. We regard the Imam as our brother and the Oman's sovereignty as natural. Shall any foreign power attempt to establish its authority, official or disguised, over Oman, the Sultan shall consider it a hostile act.

On Georgia

The Kingdom of Georgia is a sovereign realm that can enter any diplomatic agreements. Commenting or taking stance over their dealings with Russia would be inappropriate.

On Brazil

The Sublime Porte has no political nor commercial interests in Americas to justify any involvement. The Sultan was among first rulers to recognize Brazil's independence and it shall continue to be the official Ottoman policy.

The newly-declared Slavic Republic of Illyria is now the Ottoman neighbour and He extends his hand in hope for mutually respectful relations across the border.

The Most Exalted Ottoman State do hereby announces its renounciation of using military force in Europe under any circumstances, unless required by the existing treaties of mutual defense.

His Sacred and Imperial Majesty Sultan Abdul Hamid Han is very disturbed by the ultimatum issued by the Holy Roman Emperor to the King of Prussia.

The Most Exalted Ottoman State extended its full cooperation with the Austrian investigators when requested so by Vienna, and the Sultan himself has, sometimes despite opposition from His court, worked hard to maintain peace between the two great realms. Therefore He believes he's in a perfect position to issue the following statement.

The Sultan fully sympathized with His Imperial Majesty's natural grief and desire of just revenge following the despicable murder of his son and wife. Yet He wishes to caution his brother in Vienna about not letting these feelings, only half of a man would lack, to play into the hands of elements on both sides that wishes plunge Europe into yet another war.

It is impossible to expect the King of Prussia to submit to at least some of these terms. No sovereign power would consent to give foreign investigative authorities full jurisdiction over their lands and people. From the outside it almost looks as if Austria simply looks for a pretext to declare war on Prussia under justification they refused terms they couldn't possibly have fulfilled in first place.

The Sultan knows the Holy Roman Emperor as a man of God, preoccupied with his people's welfare, so he once again appeals that the latter won't allow the crisis to escalate. A war would inevitably trigger system of alliances on all sides and turn into a world conflict.

Statement in the Iberian Peninsula

Whatever is happening there is some really weird, confusing s**t, which we wouldn't touch with a barge-pole.

For the second time in less than a decade, the self-proclaimed "Emperor" or Russia has broke the peace between our two realms by launching an unprovoked and undeclared war of aggression, violating the very treaty he himself signed mere years ago.

With his actions, Paul has essentially confessed to be nothing more than a criminal, guilty of murder, rape, pillage and treachery, and shall be treated as one.

The proud Ottoman people, Muslims, Christian and Jews, stood together in vanquishing the false Pope when he invaded the Holy Land, and will do so in face of the false Emperor.

Georgia

His Sacred and Imperial Majesty the Sultan doesn’t hold a grudge against the Kingdom of Georgia, which was essentially coerced to get involved in the attack by their bully neighbour from the north.

It ought to be noted that while Georgia was in defensive alliance with the Ottoman Empire, we’ve never interfered in their domestic affairs, not attempted to put our troops there, aside of requested advisors. Russians, on the other hand, occupies the country, deposes its rightful King and usurped his crown.

The Sultan hopes that once Russia is rightfully crushed and Georgia free, such mutually respectful relations can be restored.

Paul’s War on the Muslimdom

By starting this war, a self-proclaimed „Emperor” of Russia had rejected a peace treaty that, among other terms, required him to respect rights of the Russian Muslims. His Sacred and Imperial Majesty the Sultan only agreed to sign that treaty once said provision was included.

If the Ottoman Empire, their only real friend, is defeated, the Muslims of Russia will be at Paul and his goons' mercy. But shall they rise up to join the Caliph’s righteous fight, they shall win their right to determine their own future once Russia is on its knees, begging for truce. The Caliph pledges not to make any sort of peace without this condition.

No transport of goods or supplies that might be destined for Russia shall be allowed to pass through the Ottoman lands and territorial waters. If any ship or caravan would attempt to violate the ban, it shall be treated as an enemy and dealt with accordingly.


Any country that would directly or indirectly give any aid to Russia at the time it is at war against the Sultan shall be permanently banned, now and in the future, from using any Ottoman-controlled land and sea routes in the future, including the Turkish Straits, Suez, Bab-el-Mandeb or the Straits of Malacca, unless a proper resitutution is made.

The Ottoman Empire considers all previous agreements with the Most Serene Venetian Republic as biding (Suez too), in the light of its proper government being reestablished.

His Sacred and Imperial Majesty the Sultan also wishes to appeal to His Imperial Majesty Joseph II to please stop trying to burn the f**king world avoid escalating the European crisis and show good faith by respecting Venetian sovergnity.

As Allah is our witness the Ottoman Caliphate had shown nothing but restrain, so not to aggravate the situation, even though its been a victim of foreign aggression. At this time, however, the Caliph sees no other course of action but to invoke his prerogatives in declaring the Jihad against Russian aggressors, and to further announce any Muslim from outside the Ottoman Empire that shall join him in his righteous struggle shall be promised eternal life in the Paradise and, on this earth, residency and life grants in the Ottoman Empire if they choose so.

We shall not lay down our arms until Russian are no longer to pose a threat to the Ottoman soil, and until the rights of Muslims in Russia are guaranteed, as Paul pledged before he broke the peace agreement.

Although it seemed very tempting at the time, His Sacred and Imperial Majesty the Sultan dismissed those who were urging him to take the advantage of the chaos in the Italian Peninsula to, so to speak bluntly, grab new lands in Europe. The Ottoman Empire has proclaimed, and rigorously observed, the policy of abandoning using any military force in Europe, except in case of rightful defense against aggression. Thus, the King of Naples' claims about "aggressive actions" are utterly false.

There was, not so long ago, another Italian leader who, in the act of sheer madness, lit the entire region in flames of war. His name was Verri and his regime collapsed. It is befuddling any other Italian ruler would contemplate following in his footsteps.

Furthermore, let us remember what happened to the last crusade, or rather its parody, that's been launched against the Ottoman Empire. A Papal claimant, that was foolish enough to enter the holy city of Al-Quds, also known as Jerusalem, meet his demise at the end of a rope.

The King of Naples wishes to manipulate the Ottoman Christians to colonize their lands and impose fanatically Catholic rule. He clearly doesn't understand the Orthodox Church has no reason to submitt to his plans. The Orthodox Church has flourished under the House of Osman and its protection, and the Orthodox people attained equal status in our multinational and multireligious realm. The Sultan will never allow any Catholic power to to subjugate them.

The Sultan hopes the King of Naples will see errors of his ways before he too breaks his neck against the Ottoman wall.
