May 1, 1981: A military junta removes Kemp from power and announced he'll be tried before a special tribunal, along with Bush. Congress is dissolved. Howard Baker dissapears without a trace.

Ok, so my initial wording was much too vague. I wasn't criticizing you allegedly derailing it, I was being critical of your decision to move it where you did and all. Off Topic is a place it might languish and die. Off Topic is also a place that is not really an AH forum.

That thread was pretty much done. It might've been better to lock it, but then again, people would complain just for the sake of complaining. The OP is free to try again fresh.
