Well I guess it settles this.

Based on Winfield's prediction, we can now project Hillary is President-elect.

Nobody has ever claimed she is inevitable. She is simply the only thing that stands between us and the horror that would be Trump presidency.

At this point, if you have a drop of decency in you, you simply have to support her. Some things are just too important. Vote for Hillary Clinton on November 8. The stakes are too high to stay home.

Happy you recognize the reference. It was intended.

If Trump wins, Hillary Clinton is to blame for losing the election. She is not entitled to anyone's vote. She has to earn votes. And she hasn't earned mine. If she wanted to be president so badly, she should have reconsidered her conduct in this election and over the past 20+ years in public life.

I would reluctantly vote for Hillary over Trump, but such kind of hysterically sanctimonious approach, as displayed by ag, is making me even more lukewarm.

There are no options left. It is Hillary or.... Well, I do firmly believe that Trump presidency will likely end our civilization as we know it. People who are willing to play with such things may call me sanctimonious or whatever, but if "sanctimony" means that I do want to die in my bed and not to see my children dead before me, I am willing to take it. I mean this.

As much as I don't want to see him winning, I don't think the world is going to end if Trump wins.

No offense, ag, but you've been predicting a global war over Ukraine last time. You tend to be... how shall I put this? Overtly pessimistic.

Btw, this kind of apocalyptic/contemptuous tone is actually more likely to make people more receptive to Trump than the opposite. It's not what we want, right?

Two years ago I have claimed we have 5 years left. I stay by my prediction: it is now 3 years till the end. If Trump wins, this will become certainty.

So, if you already predicted this two years ago, what is Hillary's election going to change?

I mean seriously, Trump presidency would suck and, for obvious geopolitical reasons, I'm very unhappy about this perspective, but it's not like the earth would break in two or be sucked into a dark hole.

The world had been throught the black death, two world wars, Cuban Missile Crisis just to name few. It's not going to end because of one moron with bad hair.
