I recall my Envoy to St. Petersburg home for consultations.

We appeal to the Russian Empire to show they are indeed serious about achieving real, fair peace with our Japanese friends.

I have ordered reinforcing our border garrisons. This is a defensive move. We don't want to face any more of Russian surprises, do we?

Our entrance into Bulgaria was purely a precautionary matter. Given large political (and possibly military) Russian presence there, we had no choice but to defend our capital, since Bulgaria has been already used as a Russian base to attack us during the last war.

Due to our long historical friendship with the Polish people, we are delighted to support German and Austrian efforts to liberate Poland from the Russian misrule and to grant them a home rule they deserve.

All Russian forces will cease fire immediately on condition that the Americans, British, Germans, Austrians, Japanese, and Turks do as well.

Unless Russia is prepeared to give up insulting "status quo" proposal and take talks seriously, we regretfully refuse.

Russia will not pursue a status quo peace and is willing to make concessions provided that we have a voice in the peace talks.

We agree to cease fire only if our allies agrees too.

We don't agree.

In this case, our previous statement is hereby retracted.

After receiving a highly insulting "proposal", that entirely ignores the Ottoman Empire, we refuse to engage in any talks until Russia adjust their attitude. And we're asking our allies to take note of that.

I am glad to see this trend continuing...

Pending the conclusion of talks with my ally the Ottoman Empire- I order my forces to observe an immediate and indefinite cease fire

The Ottoman Empire orders its forces to observe an immediate and indefinite cease fire as well and we are eagerly awaiting to conclude formal peace soon under terms agreed upon during our negotiations with Russia.

The next phase would start with the Late 1904 turn, no?

Ah yes.

The only reason the war continues is because the Tsar refuses to accept the reality. Russia has already lost Poland and the Baltic countries and, given enthusiastic welcome German troops has received there, we only ought to respect the will of Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian people. Also, Russia simply cannot expect to hold their grip on the Balkan countries in light of sure defeat.

We wish to reiterate we won't break our peace with Russia. We made a commitment to stop the war with them and we did. But we must declare that we are deeply displeased with Petrograd's stalling. Every day the war continues in on the Tsar's head.

Once again we appeal to him to abandon delaying and attempts to bring other countries to war and accept the inevitable. There is no shame is making a reasonable peace so the country can survive. We, the Ottomans, knows that very well.

particularly Montenegro (origin of the Italian queen)

I'm afraid the Tsar is vastly overestimating significance of family ties in politics. For example, he is a very close relative to the German Imperial House, yet those countries are at war. The Tsar of Bulgaria is a German prince, yet Germany is allied with the Ottoman Empire.

When will the Tsar start to discuss real issues instead of playing with words in attempt to delay the agreement?

Our allies only invaded Austria-Hungary when Austria declared war on their ally (that is, Russia). Serbia is, again, an independent and sovereign nation which would resist to any Austrian occupation; Austria is already unstable as its minorities are in revolt and as they are being beaten back by the little Romanian army.

Frankly speaking, with Petrograd close to a fall, Russia should be more concerned about its own backyard, not trying to play a master in the Balkans.

The Ottoman Empire has tried to reason with Russia pro bono, so a reasonable peace can be achieved. However, in light of their attempts to bring another countries into the war under false reasons, and unnecessary prolonging of the conflict, we have no alternative but to recall our Ambassador to Petrograd in protest and ask the Russian Envoy to leave our soil.

It is clear any talks with the current Tsar, displaying unrealistic attitude, are utterly unproductive. Therefore, we see no reason to try to help him out on diplomatic path anymore.

Again, we will never break our peace agreement first, but our forces in Armenia and Azerbaijan are put on alert to counter any possible attack.

Dude,
Austrian's minorities aren't in revolt. But I wouldn't say the same thing for Russia Tongue.

And yes, maybe we declared war to Russia (and we declared that with good reason, like the other powers), but we have never invaded them. It's them.

A casual read of the war thread results and Lumine's summaries suggest that Austria is indeed unstable, much more so than Russia. The only crime Serbia, Romania, and Montenegro committed was coming to the aid of their ally when the Germans and Austrians declared war on us. Meanwhile, you took advantage of your position as a Japanese ally to continue the war even after our issues with Japan were settled in order to seize large swathes Europe for yourself.

Due to Krupp factory bombing and poisining of the Kaiser, I dare to say Germany got a lot of reasons to go to war.

Thank you Kal,
Snowstalker is once again changing history.

And I have got my 20 PM limit again haha.

All we shall say is that after falsely claiming you've got a wide international support to aid her, we rather won't believe any of the Tsar's declarations. He has no credibility left.

Orders? The next phase doesn't begin until Late 1904, whenever Lumine has that ready.

Sawx and me has already sent our orders.

It doesn't matter when player send his orders.

It's not, but the next war phase won't occur for several more days until Lumine is ready.

Maybe you'll let the GM to decide whenever he's ready instead of speaking for him.

Your attempts to gain time are quite funny.

We never considered Poland/Baltic as "excessive".

That's not what I'm doing. I'm simply saying that Lumine has a lot of work ahead of him before he can start the next turn, and given the gaps between previous turns that is probably around a few days.

He'll start new turn when he's ready. There's no need to rush him nor delay him.
