Isn't Duke some kind of populist? I doubt he'd be endorsed by the teaparty or any of the tea parties, I should say.  Not to mention that they'd never want to be associated with racism since that would kill their credibility, as it is they're being accused it.

I think he won 2nd place in a jungle primary for Governor in Louisiana a while back, which is why everyone seems to think he's a Republican (his opponent was a Democrat).

And yeah, this guy will get the endorsement of the NAACP sooner than the tea party.

Yes, which led the national Republican Party to support Edwin Edwards, the Democrat.

The same, when he finished, as a Republican, second in a jungle primary in 1990 and went into a runoff with an incumbent Democrat Bennett Johnston, which led the national Republicans, as much as many Louisiana Republicans, to endorse a Democrat.
