Northeast Order of Precedence Act

The Northeast Region shall adopt and use following ceremonial order of current and former office-holders
1. Governor
2. Lieutenant Governor
3. Chief Judicial Officer
4. Speaker of the Assembly
5. Former Governors in order of their terms
6. Representatives in order of their terms of service
7. Former Lieutenant Governors in order of their terms

If Representatives shares the same term of service, following factors shall be used:
1. Lenght of previous, non-consensutive service
2. Number of registered voters in their states of residence

Gubernatorial absence Amendment

Article IV, section xiv of the Northeast Constitution is hereby amended:

1. Whenever Governor announce a leave of absence, Lieutenant Governor shall assume all powers and duties of the office
2. Lieutenant Governor shall serve as Acting Governor until Governor announce that her or his leave expired
3. In case of vacancy or leave of Lieutenant Governor, Chief Judicial Officer and then other person designated by the chain of command shall act as Governor
4. During a period of acting Governorship, officeholder fulfilling this role shall retaing her or his original office
5. In case of two-days gubernatorial inactivity, Lieutenant Governor or next person designated shall assume acting Governorship after confirming this fact by Chief Judicial Officer. The same procedure of declaring end of inactivity by Governor and returning to the executing the office as in section 2 shall be enforced

I'm going to introduce this act once again. Since it's not related to the chain of commands, it need just a bill, not amendment to the constitution.

Following ordered factors shall be used in a case of tie between Representatives with the same order of service:

2. Number of registered voters in Representative's home state

Chain of Command Amendment

Section xv, article IV of the Northeast Constitution is hereby amended:

The chain of command for the Governorship of the Northeast Region shall be as follows: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Chief Judicial Officer, Speaker of the Assembly, Longest continuously serving Representative followed by the next longest and the next and so on, Longest continuously serving citizen of the Northeast Region, followed by the next longest and the next and so on. The chain of command shall be used to fill sudden vacancies in the office of Governor. In a case of identical time of service between Representatives the lenght of previously served non-consensutive terms and then number of voters registered in Representative home state shall be used as a factor to determine a seniority.

Northeast Gun Safety Act

1. Selling firearms to any person below the age of 18 is illegal
2. Salespersons are required to check customer idenity before transaction
3. Selling firearms to convicted felons is illegal
4. Selling firearms to persons with confirmed serious mental ilness is illegal
5. Every school in the Northeast Region is required to provide a compulsory coursed for every student below the age of 15 about dangers of using the firearms, as well as about providing a basic medical help to gunshot victims in every 3 months.

Regarding Animal Cruelty Act, I believe we should also specify maximum punishment

I propose to modify following sentence in secion 2:

Hosting an event of this nature is punishable by a minimum fine of $5,000 and minimum sentence of 60 days in regional prison to maximum fine $10,000 and minumum sentence of 2 years in regional prison.

Deletion Comendation Resolution

The Northeast Assembly is strongly condemding recent acts committed by Atlasia Moderators: deleting a votes and statement mades by Representatives on the Assembly floor, relating to actual business.

We demand that a Troll List enforcement will never again affect or obstruct strickly legislative affairs.

Practical Labor Policy Act

The Northeast government shall release itself from all union contracts effective immediately.

The Northeast region shall not allow public employees to form unions, seeing these as a violation of the free market and a threat to sustainable fiscal policy in the region.

The Northeast region shall review existing public employee benefits and pensions and make the appropriate changes upon further consideration, to be completed no later than 31 August 2010.

Wiki Emergency Act

Given the fact that informations about Northeast Assembly, Northeast Laws and the Region in general on Atlasia wiki are in many cases missing or outdated, and rhe fact that the person responsible for updating, namely Lieutenant Governor, not always have an acess.
1. Governor shall name a Northeast citizen with active Atlasia wiki account to carry on these duties if the Region face situation described above, for a period of minimum two months
2. The nominee shall be confirmed by Northeast Assembly

Self Defense Act

1. The Northeast Region shall protect the right of any citizen to use lethal force to protect his life, liberty, or property.

This is very good idea and I support the abolition of victimless crimes. No victims, no crimes.

But there are cases, like widely discussed drunk driving (not only), we should not consider the situation, when no one get hurt but people's health and life were put at the risk, as "victimless".

There are difference between harmless action by nature and considering a situation, when you put someone life in danger, nothing happened this time, but... well. You all see my point.
