Scott will be forced to drop out soon and the Republicans will endorse Tancredo's candidacy in order to prevent the Democrats from winning the Governorship again.

not if he still wins the primary and there's a 50-50 for that. Scott also has a huge temper and if he wins the primary, he won't just back out because people tell him too

21 tea party/ 9-12 groups just voted in an overwhelming majority to tell Tancredo to back down and that they won't support him.

There goes the only base he could ever possibly have

Would it be possible in Colorado for the state GOP to pull a le New Jersey and just completely sack their candidates for Governor and Senate and replace them with ones that stand a better chance of winning?

They tried that but Maes refused to stand down.

they may be able to (very small chance) if McInnis wins, but Maes would not back down for nothing if he wins the primary
