As someone who has ended up on the "Israel side," in this, I'm very comfortable saying that AOC is completely right here.
Is Harry an antisemite too, Ray?
There's no need to sow divisions within Democrats right now. We have enough of that from the pro-Hamas side of the party. We have to all band together and be united going into 2024 or the worst case scenario will happen.
Ray considers me and millions of other center left to left wing people "pro Hamas" though that's the problem. We will vote the same way next November but I don't support "shutting down" dialogue here.
Keep in mind that Ray Goldfield used to be a Republican, so their viewpoints on Israel and the Squad are going to be significantly different than those of most Democrats.
I know, we've bickered for well over a decade now. At one point he was a Haley supporter and once Biden is out of office I'm almost 100% sure he'll switch back to a blue avi. My main point was that we shouldn't just kick the can down the road and not talk about Israel-Palestine just because we're both Biden voters.
If we as a whole party can't simmer down a bit, the whole question will be moot when Trump 47 allows Hamas to slaughter every Israeli from the river to the sea. None of us want that. We've got to cool off these tensions and get united again.
This is not going to happen
