Exactly.  Everyone actually look at the number of votes.  These are tiny figures.

Pretty clear that Prentice had to go immediately - no surprise there.

Interesting to see the severe criticism of Prentice for resigning as an MLA immediately - that's a fairly common occurrence in Australia.

Interesting to see the severe criticism of Prentice for resigning as an MLA immediately - that's a fairly common occurrence in Australia.

He was elected in a byelection a few months ago. He then called an early election just 'cus. So the voters of his constituency will be voting three times (!!) in a year purely because of his ego. Roll Eyes

Yeah, that's certainly true in his case of course.

The Liberal audience at David Swann's speech is cheering the NDP victory hahah

And Swann just sort of compared the PC dynasty to a third world dictatorship

When you have 44 years of conservative dominance, any change in the opposite direction is wonderful news for anyone with a center or center-left persuasion.

David Swann seems awesome, he should just join the NDP.

I've got to agree he does seem pretty cool.  Glad to see that he was re-elected.

A net gain of at least five women to the legislature, which is good in itself.

Polite applause for Notley from Wildrose supporters.  Canadian kindness stereotypes are true! Grin
