The Prohibition Party has ran a candidate for president inevery election since 1872! In 2000 they only managed to get on one state ballot (Colorado) nad manage only 208 votes. Will the Prohibitionists ever call it quits?

In 1998 the Prohibition Party's national headquarters was at Condo unit at left is the "Russell Building," 128 West 11th Ave, Denver, Colorado. Earl Dodge, the party chairman, then sold it in 1999 and moved the headquarters to his house.

In 2000 the Prohibition Nominees were:

President:   Earl F. Dodge (CO) Prohibition Party executive secretary/chairman (independent Baptist)

Vice-President:  W. Dean Watkins (AZ) retired aeronautical engineer (independent Baptist)

Prohibition was a wreck...it did nothing, and in the short term it just gave the mob something to build on.

Kind of like the "War on Drugs" today.

Exactly.
