The guy lost even though he had nearly everything going for him and was endorsed by everyone and their grandmother.

I went to his victory party in Virginia Beach last night several minutes before 8:00 PM. Congressman Scott Rigell, Chesapeake mayor Alan Krasnoff, and former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell showed up for the occasional. Ten minutes later, Randy Forbes finally showed up, walked in and shook the hands of supporters on the way to the podium. When he got to the podium, he gave a short speech and announced that he had lost. After that, he left the place.

True story.
