Considering how hard it is for my party to even get onto the ballot in my state, I'm inclined to say "yes" I would vote for the rival party. I usually vote for the Democrat unless an independent with strong socially liberal views is running. In Oklahoma the only difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that the Democrats aren't batsh*t insane on social issues.
