I'm obviously not going to side with the woman who can afford healthcare but who doesn't believe she should pay for it.
That kind of entitled freeloading is for kindergartners.
Why should she?
If I call 911 and the police get to my house about ten minutes after the crook runs off scared they don't issue me a ticket and say "you owe us $450.98. You got 30 days to pay us."
If I call 911 and the firetruck people get to my house to put out the fire in the attic caused by my grandmother's tanning bed they don't say "give us your firefighter's insurance card and we'll bill you in fifteen days."
Yet for some damned reason if you call 9/11 to get your ass to a hospital because you mistakenly thought you were having a heart attack instead of just some horrible gas from that old Domino's pizza you ate earlier that afternoon, the hospital is going to demand an arm and a foot from you and that is after you give them your insurance.
That we have to pay for healthcare is the travesty itself. Rant all you want about Sandra Fluke being an overlyentitled Ivy League law student who is in no way economically disadvantaged or oppressed who is basically playing "angry middle upper class white woman of the week" I think that it's basic common sense to conclude that she hasn't been scamming the government as near as bad as the inhuman insurance industry has. They deserve to lose as much money as the music industry does for selling music albums at criminal prices while millions of young people prefer to pirate their music.
