David Addison Leip, born March 12, 1960, in Bridgeport, New York.  Son of Joseph and Martha Leip.  Of Jewish descent.  Mother was Protestant.  Became interesting in presidential elections after watching the presidential debates in 1968.  Parents were staunch Democrats.  Mr. Leip graduated with a BA in Statistics from Brown University in 1982.  Used the Internet as a medium to display his presidential election maps, starting in 1994.  Arrested for DWI in 1997, fined $100 and sentenced to forty years of community service.  Mr. Leip is a lifelong Democrat and voted for John Kerry in the 2004 primaries.  He has never been intimate with a woman, and his favorite election is 1884.  His future plans include recording precinct data for every election since 1792.  Is reluctant to ban forum members because his brother was once banned from an internet forum and shot himself.  Though Mr. Leip hardly ever interacts with posters on his forum, he maintains several joke accounts, one of which is a non-virgin from Oklahoma.  Besides presidential elections, his hobbies include computer programming and musical theory.

And I would've gotten away with it to if it weren't you meddlin forumites!

but

Everybody here knows the REAL reason why he left.  He couldnt hack it.  Couldnt take the heat, ya see?

Sometimes the going gets tough and the tough get going ya see?  It's all a rough and tumble game and he was run out of town.  Maybe he needed a new dame to fix him a drink to get away from the chaos.  Is a kid like him even into the dames these days?  I tell ya this swell world sure can make one's head spin.

Real political ambitions my AHY ESS ESS

I would say homosexuality.  Although, some staunch conservatives idiots say that we already have a Muslim in Office right now, which I vehemently disagree with.  The muslim religion is, for better or for worse, linked to terrorism and unlike the views of my good friend Sally Kern, homosexuality is not a worse threat than terrorism.  Terrorists can kill, homosexuals probably will just vehemently disagree, they won't kill.  At least, the GLBT's I've known aren't violent people, terrorists do.

I haven't read too much about President Buchanan, other than that he was arguably the worst president, if not of history, then definitely the 19th century.

Corrected.

Gustaf, I don't think that your post is in line with the behaviour expected of a moderator. It is petty, vicious and completely unnecessary. Ironically, what we are clamping down on.

By no means am I coming out on their side, because I have always taken a strong line in asking for bans of problem posters.

The fact that you have to state this is what makes me ill. The "you are either with us (and everything we do) or you are against us" attitude will not help this forum work properly.

Very reminiscent of McCarthyism, isn't it?

Thats why the fact that no one else seems bothered by this scares the f*-- out of me.

The only people bothered, it seems, are "trolls" "border line trolls" and "Teddy".

All I can say is

Forum trolls are apparently German Jews circa 1938. Does this make Alcon Hitler?

I mean really.
I am not the biggest fans of mods, but comparisons with Hitler?
That almost makes conservatives comparing healthcare to Nazi Germany sound sane in comparison.

" If Gary Johnson were to win the nomination..."

Well...

If my aunt had balls, then she'd be my uncle. And I place the chances of either happening at about the same.

A Brown upset victory is looking more and more likely. Can't wait to see the polling from this weekend to see how much more in trouble Coakley is now.

Is this statement still funny guys?

I don't know what's funnier: Scott Brown a "Hard-Core Conservative" or Kalwejt's use of "WFT".

I would like to lobby for XII to continue (without the drama, if that's possible) just because it's a memorial to the night the forum disappeared.  And of course, I started the thread.  It's my one important contribution to the forum, so have mercy on it.

The democratic campaign was hopeless. People honored Blanche Lincoln as the first woman and african american to head a national party ticket, but that did not encessarily mean that people were going to vote for her. The issues were not on her side.

Robert Byrd, he's third in the line of succession Tongue

I don't see anything happening to both Obama and Biden throughout the next three/seven years.
That's because you are looking at your computer screen right now. How are you going to see Obama and Biden looking at Atlas Forum?

His level of delusion is hilarious.
And of course this is motivated by religion. Atheists seethe with hatred at the pope and any other religious figures who defy their world view.

Collectivist much?

The hypocritical reactions here definitely highlight a serious problem on this forum: heterosexuals are treated as second-class citizens. Well enough is enough. We're sick of the double standard straight Americans are subjected to by these haters.

Oh god... Roll Eyes

Which explains why I have never been reported for using the word "f****t" Roll Eyes

Aw, Winston, c'mon, this whole sudden socialist thing is unbelievable enough, but now you're going to start criticizing a score similar to what you would have had just a few months ago?

Sudden? Nah. And I haven't had a social score that low since the end of 2008 ftr.

Dude, your shifts are more random then Tmth's back in 2009

How ironic that YOU should criticise me for swinging politically.

Dude, Winston a few months back you made me look like a sane economic libertarian, and now you got the average leftist poster econ score.
You do swing pretty radically.

It's called growing up.

Puberty is a bitch, ain't it?

Now I'm not the biggest fan of Silent Spade, but that was a pretty funny comeback.

How did you get to sit in so many state house seats? You would have gotten arrested probably before you even got to the first one.

Seems highly unlikely given how much of the planet is currently far too cold for human habitation.

So then wouldn't warming make more livable land for humans?

Yes, but it would also flood a great many major cities. You really want to start rebuilding New York all over again in Minnesota?

No, of course not, Minnesota doesn't deserve that, lol.
