Looks like Tancredo is now the de facto Republican nominee.

To be fair, McInnis had a large scandal just a few weeks before the primary.

Who is more rightwing, Maes or Tancredo? I guess it depends on the issue...

Tancredo is actually an advocate of marijuana legalization, believe it or not.

If Tancredo gets over 10%, the ACP will be classified as a major party in CO - if Maes gets less than 10%, the GOP will get classified as a minor party . . .

Which would be hilarious Grin

I always thought that, except for immigration, Tancredo was your standard Republican.

Your standard Republican wants to nuke Mecca?

Did he say that? I only know of his immigration views.

This is another example of how I believe the Tea Party is doing in the Republicans, if it was Hickenlooper vs Maes, it would be a toss up, but with Tancredo taking away so many of Maes' votes, that puts Hickenlooper in front.  Ever since I heard Tancredo's speech calling for a return to segregation, I can't take him seriously.

Maes is actually the Tea Partier here, Tancredo is just a semi-bigot.  Can certainly understand your confusion though.

Maes makes Tancredo look moderate by comparison Grin
