The Illinois Democratic Lt Gov nominee is vaguely reminiscent of (I think) the 1978 election when a Lyndon LaRouche supporter won that nomination and Stevenson had to run as an independent.  He lost, needless to say, big time.

How slim does the lead need to become for Dillard to pursue a recount?  Less than 100?  Less than 25?
