You need a doctor to treat minor ailments.

It is dangerous for people to self-prescribe antibiotics.

But in the government regulated drug field here you need a doctor's prescription.  Are you in favor of greater freedoms without government regulation of the matter (aka, less government) like they obviously have in Thailand?

I don't think in terms of 'more government' or 'less government', GM.  The State is everything.  It currently forces us to pay a tribute to the medical mafia in order to get a handful of azithromycin.  I think instead it should give them to us upon request 'for free'.

That sounds suspciously like a mix of red and blue opebo......but I don't disagree with the last part of your response at all.
