It's ritualistic slaughter if done in a way that causes minimal suffering to the animal, from what I can tell.

I think Section 3 might present some difficulties... but it's good legislation on balance. Aye.

Senator Hagrid made an intriguing reference to a pest control exemption. I think we all agree that we don't want to ban extermination of pests, but I second your point, Nix, in that I'm not really sure how the bill as it stands would have a major impact on this - does the issue relate to the testing pf pesticides?
