Alright fine guys, I can respect the fact that you guys take this whole system seriously and stuff but this REALLY SUCKS. Maybe I'm too principled or something, I just thought that when it came down to it we had each other's back, well I guess I'm wrong. I wish this party great success in the future in hopefully promoting an agenda of liberty throughout Atlasia.

Once we help create the Southeastern Assembly, you should run for that to prove yourself.

Yes, the creation of the Southeastern Assembly is an important goal we would like to see moving forward.

Party Leadership

The following are established as permanent leadership positions within the Populares, herein referred to as the "Party".

(1) The Chairman shall serve as the official head of the party and public representative of the Party. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention. The Chairman has the sole authority to appoint a Vice-Chairman in the absence of one, as well as appointing other officers to fill vacancies and to create new offices when needed, including Regional Chairman, if needed.
(2) The Vice-Chairman shall serve as the acting Chairman in absence of the Chairman, and shall assume Chairmanship should the Chair (a) resign or (b) become inactive. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention.
(3) The Whip shall serve as the Party's main coordinator. The duties of the Whip include ensuring that voters reach the polls and ensuring elected officials support the party's position. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every  convention. The Whip shall have the authority to appoint a Deputy Whip is he/she desires to assist with the position's functions.
(4) The Secretary shall maintain official party records and maintain an updated list of voter rolls for private use. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention.
(5) The Treasurer shall analyze data and information, take polls and surveys, provide demographic information, and advise the Chairman and Whip on developing Party strategies. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention.
(6) The Press Secretary shall serve as the public communicator to the press. His/her duties include giving official interviews with publications and making special announcements, as well as speaking for the Chairman when the Chairman is not present. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention.
(7) The Human Resources Director shall serve as the Party's recruitment office. His/her duties include seeking like-minded Atlasians and encouraging Atlasians to become Populares. He/she shall be elected by popular vote to be held at every convention.

Conventions

(1) Conventions will be held prior to every national election.
(2) The Convention shall be opened by any member of the party leadership. At this point, we begin voting to elect a convention chair. The convention chair shall be elected by a simple popular vote.
(3) Conventions are set to begin promptly on the first day of each month containing a national election. Conventions are set to last until adjourned by the convention chair.
(4) To participate in Convention votes, Party members must first sign in to the Convention.
(5) Tasks to be handled during conventions include ballot endorsements, bylaw amendments, leadership votes (when required), and platform amendments.
(6) Any Party member may propose bylaw amendments and/or platform amendments. Any Party member may nominate himself/herself or another Party member for a Party leadership position. All Party members have the right to vote on Party endorsements. Exceptions must be cleared by both the Chairman and Whip to be official.
(7) All Convention votes must remain open for a minimum of twenty-four hours and a maximum of seventy-two hours.
(8 ) The Convention shall be adjourned the elected convention chair.



Voting

(1) Endorsements shall be offered to all candidates who receive a majority of endorsement votes from Party members.
(2) Leadership elections are won by the nominee receiving a plurality of votes from Party members.
(3) Expulsion from Party membership will be proposed and voted on by Party leadership in private.

Since Vane is an officeholder neither within the party nor in any Atlasian elected office, I don't think we need to stress out over that right now.

In the meantime, let's discuss something (hopefully) less controversial: party colors.

The so-called "High Authority for Ethics in Voting" (HAEV) and all of its activities are hereby condemned wholeheartedly by the Popular Party; the HAEV's immediate destruction shall be pursued by each and every Popularis to the fullest extent of his or her capability.
