You mean so coming out of World War II as the world's most powerful, feared and respected nation and knowing economic prosperity for over nearly 30 years was a bad thing?
You mean coming out as a centralized, fascistic warmongering state dominated by the military-industrial complex, experiencing a rapid decline in individual rights and freedoms, and massive growth in government and corporate power, engineered by the Federal Reserve and an unstable artificial economic system?
