[1]Reluctantly. [2]Would get my full and undying support. [3]Tough choice. Not sure if I liked either him or Hoover, but prohibition tipped the scales in favor of Smith. [4]The enemy of my enemy is my friend. [5]I'd only support him for his foreign policy views. Everything else is just horrible. [6]And then I'd move to Canada if he won. [7]Opposed the Vietnam War. [8]I would have probably voted for him because of his seemingly non-interventionist platform. Sometimes I have hope that he was really a proponent of a humble foreign policy all along, and the interventionist garbage was just Cheney's puppetry.
