What are the numbers for Prop 16?  If that thing passes, I will lose my faith in the intelligence of the average Californian.

Alright, I'm taking suggestions for silly write-ins.  I thought of either writing-in myself or Invader Zim.

32%. I take it you did not vote for her and are very embarrassed by 1 out of 3 California Republicans?

You talking about Carly "Israel" Fiorina?

Fiornia and the other American worker hating CEO did a lot better than 32%.

This is why I hate active threads like this.  I quoted the wrong post, I think.  I assume it was DeVore who got 32%.

Nightingale is winning the AIP primary.  Stewart Alexander and Carlos Alvarez are tied for the Peace and Freedom Party primary.

You don't like the jungle primary Pit?

Theoretically, it could help third party candidates by lowering the threshold required for plurality.  A charismatic, viable third party candidate could make it to the runoff.  However, major party candidates don't always split the vote near-evenly.

It essentially eliminates protest voting in general elections. I would be more favorable to it if it also incorporated a Nevada-style NOTA line.

Yeah, there's that.  Behold, the stupidity of the initiative system.

The open primary would work perfectly with score voting.

Does Nevada have a significant Armenian population?  With Tarkanian that's three Armenians involved in the Senate race.

Is there a table of the colors used in the maps here, so I don't have to keep going around print-screening and sh-t?

You mean this??

https://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/IMAGES/key.gif

All you have to do is click "map key" on any of the election pages for that.

Thanks.  I was going to make maps for the California primaries.

The situation with the American Independent Party is interesting.  From what I know, the party was hijacked by supporters of Alan Keyes, and the national affiliation was changed from the Constitution Party to Keyes's America's Independent Party.  So, there's a split between supporters of Reagan's token black, and Constitution Party supporters.

Here is a map of the AIP primary.  Red is Chelene Nightingale, blue is Markham Robinson.  I will also be making maps for the Green Party, Peace and Freedom Party, and Republican Party.

I didn't see a single ad for Prop 14.  I can't help but think most people who voted for it just thought it sounded cool.

Prop 16:
