Guys, we've been over Jesse Jackson with Fuzzy before but he apparently has forgotten. It's not worth arguing with him, because even when he comes around again, he'll just post the same thing in a few weeks like it never happened.

Fuzzy, Jesse Jackson apologized decades ago for his comments and was widely condemned for them then. The comment is the primary reason why he was never the Democratic presidential nominee despite always having a lot of momentum for it.

Jackson did not endorse a candidate in the 2016 primaries until Hillary locked up the nomination, and has not endorsed or participated at all in the 2020 race. He's not a major fixture on the Democratic scene and hasn't been in decades.

Your point isn't good because you don't have the basic facts correct. We all think Jackson is a dumbass, but if the Jewish community forgave him decades ago following a sincere apology, I'm not going to step in and still hold a grudge on their behalf. The sad thing is that this is close to verbatim to a post I've already made in another thread where you brought up Jackson out of the blue, but you probably have forgotten.

So do you condemn Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who collaborated with Hitler?  Or should he be regarded positively as a Founding Father of the postwar strain of Arab Nationalism?

Which position on the Grand Mufti do you take?  You are always demanding moral clarity of me, so this shouldn't be tough?

Is there a single poster on the forum who doesn't? Is there a single prominent American who doesn't? Oh right, no. This is just pathetic, Fuzzy.

The very idea that you imply that posters might support a literal genocidal Nazi for god knows what reason is insulting, embarrassing, and disgraceful.
