Julian Castro and Elizabeth Warren would be disproportionately represented, and then Sanders and the other popular candidates.

I don't think you can even say that. I think Yang has attracted support from a wide cross section of the Democratic Party, including working class whites turned on by UBI who would otherwise support (and/or co-support) Biden.
