Anyone else seeing chatter that vin weber might be going down?

Would be really disappointing to see a once respectable politician go down.

There's this: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/mueller-probe-draws-in-tony-podesta-vin-weber-ap/

M e h. He was four square contract with America arm-in-arm with Gingrich and turning Congress into the hyper partisan mess it is today.

Mueller should promise the Flynns safety if they squeal and then lock them up anyway.

Things like that are carefully spelled out in written agreements readily enforceable by the Courts.

A nice thought, though.

Given the greater than 50/50 chance (IMHO) the strong rumors of her f$%king Trump, she has only herself to blame for trying to screw her way to a position of high power.

If the rumors are false, she's merely another turd in King $hit's orbit who'd better flip fast to avoid full prosecution.

Is this something that could destroy the Republicans if halfway proven?

Absolutely... though it’s still tinfoil territory for now. Outside of the Menschmobile there’s zero evidence the RNC got in on the action wholesale and that it wasn’t just driven by Trump’s motley gang of hacks and wierdos.

It wouldn't be unprecedented for the Republican Party to consort with other foreign governments for electoral advantage, as Richard Nixon did in 1968 when he interfered with peace negotiations with North Vietnam -essentially committing treason.  President Lyndon Johnson chose not to make an issue of it for fear of repercussions.

If that caliber of evidence does present itself, the next Democratic president shouldn't be so considerate.

Absolutely true, but it was not publicly known until after Nixon's resignation, iirc, and it's still not widely known and mostly confined two history textbooks today. What's being alleged here is quite different and has potential for going very public in the immediate aftermath of such treasonous action. That said, I expect well greater than 1/3 of Americans to absolutely write it off or otherwise justify it.

No one can call this "A total hoax", without sacrificing all their credibility anymore.

The cultists who've been calling this a hoax squandered their credibility ages ago.

You have a lot invested in disproving the collusion “narrative” don’t you Limo “Liberal”

A “limousine liberal” is a derogatory term for an affluent individual who supports progressive causes, similar to a champagne socialist. The whole point of the name is a troll, and an outdated one at that.

lmao no. It's a description of who I am and the people around me - Arlington County, VA (where I live) has the highest median income in the country and is very democratic. Thus, the epitome of "limo liberals". I'm owning that term and tongue in cheek alluding to who I am - a liberal in a wealthy family in a wealthy place.

Horsesh**t. You're a troll oh, and a very bad one at that

Mueller has enough evidence to prove the 2017 Seychelles meeting between Erik Prince and the Putin officials was to establish a backchannel between the Trump Whitehouse and the Kremlin.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/mueller-gathers-evidence-that-2016-seychelles-meeting-was-effort-to-establish-back-channel-to-kremlin/2018/03/07/b6a5fb8c-224b-11e8-94da-ebf9d112159c_story.html?utm_term=.7ecc7840bf8c

That is worthy of a Nuclear Elmo.

I'm sure the Republican party, Fox News, and the other blue avatar morons on this board will find a way to spin this away too.

I believe Kennedy used an ABC News reporter for a back channel with the Russians during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Not for the Russians.

They used a female reporter to reach out to Castro (iirc it was to get the bay of pig veterans back)

The back channel during the crisis was the soviet ambassador and Bobby. Besides it’s obvs different as the Russians hadn’t helped Kennedy win, and the meeting didn’t happen two months after the election.

Exactly.
There's a big difference between a President reaching out to a foreign entity to solve a crisis (FDR sending Harry Hopkins to negotiate with the USSR) and a candidate reaching out to a foreign entity to screw a political opponent (i.e. Nixon screwing the Vietnam peace process in 1968)

Guys. Naso is an idiot. Don't bother responding. He's a literal sub 90 IQ idiot.
