Please go on you two. A debate between two Atlas intellectual heavyweights should be truly awe-inspiring.

McConnell is winning the primary because he is in essence a Tea Party candidate. Look at his voting record. He even supports a federal "right-to-work" law (which nobody except the Tea Party likes).

Not uncommon. Tea Party challengers (or the everpresent threat of one) over the past few years have moved most Republicans lawmakers notably rightwards in their voting records. IMHO, there are substantially fewer RINOs in the GOP than TPIABNs (Tea Partiers In All But Name).

Admittedly, I don't think that acronym will catch on as it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue like "RINO" does. Tongue

She's getting killed.

There is no reason why she shouldn't at least be able to keep this within 6% (unless she's just that much of a stinker as candidate).

Or, she's running in 2014 KY.

Of course they'll say publically it's too close to call, and after investing 2 years of their lives and running close for so long they may hold out for a miracle, but I can't believe Grimes and her people really believe they're not going to lose.
