It was my understanding that we're supposed to be a successor state to the United States.
If that's the case, I'm not sure why the GM is basing regional numbers off of current RL numbers.
There's still a relation between the two. RL disasters hit us, as do RL crises like Egypt. "Their" history pre-2004(?).
BTW Gov, I'm
not using RL economic numbers for our own. We have a different (lower, for now) unemployment rate and slightly (for now) lower GDP growth rate. I'm merely using RL numbers as a model for thing like allocating regional unemployment (i.e. higher unemployment in the Pacific; lower in the Rockies and Grain Belt) and tax revenue. FYI...
