it seems that there are two contradictory stereotypes of jewish people in regards to foreign policy. One is sort of the hawkish foreign policy type that is hell bent on preserving Israel (think Joe Liebermann or Jane Harman). At the same time, however,weren't a lot of the antiwar activists 40 years ago disproportionately jewish?

My understanding is that it is quite common for different Jews to have different opinions.
