There were some times in my life when I very much wanted it. Now I feel less strongly about it either way. I guess I want to hope that we're destined for a world with less suffering and more flourishing in it, and if God's existence is a guarantee of that (which of course many Christians don't believe, given their insistence on eternal damnation) then that'd be a relief.
