I bet Republicans laugh at it too, they just haven't been caught on tape-yet.

Democrats are better though because their policies help these people while Republicans will hurt them more and increase suicide rates.

The idea that working in (one's understanding of) people's "best interest" somehow absolves one from the moral duty to care for and empathize with these people, is one of the most pernicious ideas in modern politics.
