Any chance Reid can take advantage of this to convince his colleagues to nuke the filibuster for good?
Probably not as there is no reason to do it for this. After all, anything that can get through the House that the Dems could sign on to would have enough Republican Senators to avoid a filibuster in the Senate.

And considering the political situation, it's more likely that Republicans will pull the trigger than Democrats (I'm however confident that they won't have the opportunity to use it for long, though, and that Dems will be the long-term beneficiaries).
