It is most gratifying to see all you Dem hacks and your perpetual fascination, nay, your absolute obsession, with Mitt Romney, following his every move.

Perhaps someday you will find some other object of your affection to stalk, but for the time being you are certainly getting your essential Romney fix.

Clearly, you and the nation cannot get enough of this great man.

Keep up the great work you Romney obsessives you.

He's been our greatest source of comedy for over one year, so, yeah, it's hard to get used to his falling back into irrelevancy.

I disagree. They disliked Mitt Romney because Obama told them to dislike Romney via unfair ads and personal smears. Obama would have done that for any GOP candidate.

Because Romney never ran a single negative ad...

He did, but Obama attacked Romney's personal character and integrity far more than Romney attacked Obama's. Romney focused on the record.

Maybe, if you say so. On the other hand, Romney made much more false/misleading claims, I think most objective fact-checkers agreed on that. Obama's attacks on Romney were mostly unveiling parts of his character which weren't yet known by the voter. And the acts most damaging to Romney's image were made by Romney himself (47% anyone?).

Point is, campaigns aren't clean and this one was nastier than usual. But a Romneyite whining that Obama won by being nasty is plain ludicrous.

Didn't we fight so hard to win this election so that we didn't have to talk about Mitt?

Nope. We fought so hard to win this election so that talking about Mitt would remain a funny activity rather than a heartbreaking one.
