I'd love to support you. Unfortunately that will have to be sometime in the future after I see how you perform in a lower office such as Assembly.

Winston's already been a Senator, although that was when he was a far-right libertarian Populares member who hilariously became a communist halfway through his term. Tongue

A lot has changed since whenever that was. Smiley

Even so, the JCP nominee ought to be someone who has shown a commitment to the region first. This is nothing against Winston personally. I'd like to see him run for Assembly.

I've been in NE Assembly before too, for a while. Hashemite appointed me to fill an empty seat iirc.

That might be so but considering you a) only recently returned to the game (I've been here nearly a year and haven't met you yet) and b) apparently have a history of changing ideologies (even while holding office), I think you will understand why I will not be able to support you as my successor. If you'd like to remove these doubts, run for Assembly and prove to us why you'll make a good Senator in the future.

If someone else of the JCP is interested in running, then the issue deserves to be debated. But if Winston is the only one who indends to run it would make no sense to go looking for another candidate.
