Didn't know Turkey had such a high turnout. Well, that's probably one of the only bright spots of its politics...

Good news from Turkey: stability, economic growth, a government of moderate conservative that will have tho force to bring turkey in Europe, and not from the backdoor.

The reelection of an authoritarian-leaning, power-hungry religious party is certainly very good news for Turkey and Europe.

Well, someone who likes Berlusconi obviously can't not like Erdogan.

Of course the AKP not having 2/3rds majority is a very good thing. But despite the fact most turkish parties suck, I can't think the AKP's lead is a good thing for the country.

I would have voted AKP here, despite all the obvious problems. Kemalism is antithetical to most everything I believe in.

I've no sympathy for kemalism, but I'd have voted for the CHP just to make the AKP majority weaker.
