EELV is objectively less deserving to stay than PSOE. Both need to go though, so whatever is the results I will be satisfied. Smiley

Oh Edu, c'mon, I've never been a rabid defender of the PSOE, but a few ones had to go before it and I try to respect my logic.

PSOE won't resist eternally... Actually I'm warming up to the idea of ousting it, mainly because I'm fed up of this stupid pro/anti-PSOE polarization. Once it is out, we could start again seeing more original combinations. Wink

In some way, it is a bit of a pity to eliminate EELV just in the moment when its member seem to prove they aren't totally brainless. Grin But at least this is done. Wink

The final top 10 is nice enough, though of course there are some mistakes. Tongue It's a bit lopsided (7 left-wing parties and only 3 right-wing) but probably the next rounds will bring some balance. Now it's time to join Edu and Fab in our quest to kill PSOE. Grin

Eliminate PSOE and CDU/CSU

Keep IdV

Fab and Jarl, I must say I'm pretty disappointed by your strategic skills. If you really wanted PSOE out, you needed to protect Idv... If you had, at this point the race would be close and with Edu left to vote... Sad Instead of blaming the voting system, try to adapt to it !

C'mon ! You say this to me and at the same time, you vote for CDU ?!?

I can't try to kill PSOE at all costs: there is one cost I can't afford, losing CDU !!!

When I voted CDU stood at 0 (as much keep votes as eliminate) and IdV at 7. You clearly overestimated the risk.

Yeah, of course I understand. But PSOE must go very soon or a lot of awesome parties will be killed just for the sake of saving it.

Oh BTW, my rules follow a very precise logic (except those ending by 3 and 8) and by looking at previous rounds you could be able to predict what will be the rule used next time. Wink I hope this rule will be more prone to PSOE's elimination, but the rules matters far less than the way people vote.

Please all those who want to kill PSOE, listen !

Edu, Fab, Jarl, Nhoj... Here is what we will do. Each of us will cast their 4 points for PSOE (traitors will be punished). We must cast our 2 following votes for a different party each. None of us shall cast their vote for the same pasrty as another. Edu can cast them for CDU/CSU, Fab for GL, Jarl for SAP, Nhoj for another one and I'll pick another one once you have cast your votes. If you can, try to choose a party the PSOistas haven't voted for.

I trust you, guys, don't disappoint me. United we shall win ! Grin

OK, that's looking great. If Edu doesn't cast any vote for SAP, German Greens or the Sweden Moderates (and avoids doing so with a few others as well), there should be nothing able to stop PSOE's killing. *laughs diabolically* Grin

And now I do !  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

4 PSOE
2 CDU/CSU

And it's done ! Done ! Done ! Even if Edu doesn't show up it's done ! PSOE is dead !

And sanity can be back in this game....

Now chill up guys and realize your madness. You were so obsessed with saving your little PSOE that you were about to kill the best party in the world. You were about to commit a crime against awesomeness. Now that you are free from the PSOE's mind control, you'll cast votes for parties that deserve to go, and not just in order to save the PSOE.

Yep. Wink Have a look at this if you don't believe me. Wink

I were tense... But after Homelycooking's vote I knew the maths made it impossible for the PSOE's survival if we managed our votes intelligently. Wink Remember there was still Edu left to vote !

I honestly don't know what to do. On the one hand, he could have waited if he was the one casting the votes, but on the other hand there needs to be someone who votes at first... If you think it's unfair, no problem, I'll cast the vote immediately.

There are 2 right-wing parties left, do you want a totally lopsided top 5 ? Come on, even if you don't like the Moderates for political reasons, give them a shot for pluralism's sake !!!!

OK, it's all up to our German greens, so. Hans and Jon, before you vote I'd like to ask you to think a lot about it. You might prefer (by far) GreenLeft to the Moderate Party for political reasons : I do too. But how fun will the top 5 be, if there won't be even one mainstream right party ? And for the mainstream right, the Moderates are a great party, very sane and pretty successful in government. They also have a pretty strong history, if that matters.

Please people, sacrify GreenLeft in the name of fun and of political balance ! Please save the Moderates !!! I beg you ! Cry

Thank you Jon ! Smiley Sorry for doubting of you, but I always think about the worst possible scenarios. I'm so happy to see Fab proven wrong. Grin

I can't help but think about a scene like that. Tongue

"If you think the Moderates deserve to go, if... if you think they are objectively worse, less interesting than GreenLeft, then vote to eliminate them. But if you're doing this because GreenLeft better represents your political positions, then Fab is right. This survivor is biased. You have a choice. Maybe the last real one you'll have here."

Wondering if someone knows where this (rearranged) quote comes from. Grin
