1 Tilden 1876 because he should have won
2 Gore 2000 for the same reason
3 Bob Kennedy 1968
4 T. Roosevelt 1912, though Wilson was not a bad candidate
5 Dean 2004
6 Bryan 1896
7 McCain 2000 : he would have saved GOP from the reactionary right
8 Seymour 1868, mostly because Grant was awful
9 Mondale 1980, both because I love him and because I hate Reagan
10 Stevenson 1956, I loved this guy and Eisehower was too old for a second term

4) Bobby Kennedy, 1968 I iwsh he never died, he would've been the BEST democrat  to EVER hold the title of president

You prove your stupidity more and more everyday. Bobby would have been much worse than his classier, more logical, and more experienced brother. Also, what about Presidents such as Bill Clinton and Grover Cleveland and Harry Truman. Do you honestly think Bobby could have had a term anywhere near as good as one of those three. You are in over your head with that statement.

Erm, Bill Clinton's term wasn't that good.
I think he was the best president since Johnson, possibly since Kennedy. And possibly the best president for the economy EVER.

Economic conservatives love Clinton because all his reform attempts failed. In fact, the ideal Libertarian president is a total do-nothing. Tongue

Indeed, who balances the budget and protects the liberties of the people. I've got some other ideas for my ideal president, though, including expanding environmental protection and the national park system.

Since it's an intervention of the State, libertarians should be against environmental protection, as they are against economical or social protection. Anyways, I agree with you that Clinton was a quite good President, though not an amazing one.

Surprise surprise! Most libertarians I know (myself included) subscribe to the ideal "your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins". Environmental protection laws, like preventing pollution in populated areas, could be seen as "libertarian" in that they prevent one person from "swinging their fist into somebody' else's nose". I don't believe there is any for sure libertarian answer on this issue, which is why the LP is pretty divided on this issue (like abortion). Some people (Mary Ruwart, Steven Kubby) suggest giving landowners complete authority to sue polluters on their lands while guys like Wayne Allyn Root are "Drill! Drill! Drill!"
There is more to being a libertarian than just "urrr state intervention is super evil". I realize the importance of taxes to fund some stuff like roads and public libraries (hardcores shut up, the public library is where I got a real education, not in our joke of a public school system).

Thanks for those explanations. Smiley Libertarian ideology interests me and intrigues me at the same time. I totally agree with it on some issues, but I also find it really idealistic sometimes.
