IMHO:
Non-college whites are so overwhelmingly Republican in Georgia that there's no real divide between higher and lower social trust poll respondents the way there is in other states, and you can get a nearly perfect sample of them despite non-response issues that have a much bigger impact in some other places.
The salient/swing voters in the state are college-educated (primarily suburban) whites who are the most willing and reliable poll participants of any demographic group.
