English and German, I really took to German.  Smiley  What I want to learn in college:
French
Spanish
Japanese

The only French you need to learn is the german phrase, "I surrender"

Official English, Most English Dialects (Forestish still bemuses me though...), French (enough to humiliate myself in a shop), Welsh (ditto), German (not enough even for that... beyond all the stuff from WW2 films), the inevitable few words of Latin (actually I lot more than I care to admit... especially as I never took, nor had the oppertunity to take, Latin in school)... a few words in Polish...

The further South, the thicker the accent IIRC...

Every southern state has its own unique dialect.

But I'm positively astonished at the high number of people speaking German.

It's the only European language worth learning.
