I think someone may have hacked into Fords account and posted this. What a sad day for the forum.

John Ford obviously has forgotten how 9/11 pretty much destroyed the social program agenda that was so much in play before 9/11. He forgets we are in a war for our lives and sometimes it is better to be poor and free then rich and dead. You know what Kerry is about and you know what dire straits our nation is headed in if he gets in. He said in the primaries, "We will do ANYTHING to win" so it won't suprise me when the Democrats actually succeed in stealing in this time like they tried to in 2000.

States,

Its Bush that doesn't understand that we're in a war.  He goes out and signs a Dividend tax cut and a Medicare drug benefit, extremely expensive things, at a time when they are more needed for national defense than at any time since the early 80s.  Where is the action on Iran?  On Syria?  On Sudan?  Its nowhere.  We got bamboozled into thinking this guy was serious.

The media is out of control. People always want to get hypersensitive about the 1st Amendment Issue. We need to get back to the WW2 standard of journalism. Most here can't understand it but I give them a pass because the liberal school system has been brainwashing our children for years.

Why do you propose doing the exact same things you constantly complain about Abraham Lincoln over?

At this current time I feel it is necessary.

Wow. A fascinating thread, indeed. Unfortunately I don't have time really to comment on it now, though I did mention it in my own personal thread about why I'm a Democrat. I'd love to talk to John, Supersoulty, and MarkDel about this on the phone sometime. If any of you want to talk to me, email me. Mark already has my number (sorry man, I've been pretty busy lately, hope we can talk this weekend). Mark, feel free to give out my number to other Forumites too, I don't mind.

Me? Sad
