Why support Heinz Ketchup?

Especially odd since Heinz-Kerry is only a small minority shareholder in the company (about 4% or so).  Her portfollio is far more diversified.  

The Heinz company itself has only given small (and equal) token donations to both parties and does not endorse anyone.

Of course that's only what they publish. We have no clue what is being donated or switched around behind closed doors.

And if you read any of the family sized Ketchup bottles made before March they say "Made in Canada". I still have one as proof.
