You (super) are the one who put this sad news in the campaign forum.  Are you suggesting this was somehow related to the upcoming election campaign?  That Bush will use this event in the campaign.

No, we're saying Kerry will blame the violence on Bush's "reckless foreign policy."  If you have forgotten the lesson of 9/11 then let me spell it out for you:  these people want to kill us!  Instead of blaming Bush for stirring up the situation (on could argue the US stirred up Japan by declaring war on them AFTER they attacked us), you Dems should argue that Bush isn't being aggressive enough.

Iraq is fertile ground for Al Qaeda because of the war, that is true.  It is also true that we are in Iraq as sitting ducks because of the war.  I just don't understand how criticism of Bush's policies translates into "coddling" the bad guys.

Regardless of some alleged "ties" between A Q and Iraq, we all know Iraq was, at best a minor player in A Q, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc. (in addition to Afghanistan) being much more prominently affiliated with AQ.

No Republican has ever criticized US foreign policy before.  Only democrats.  We all want to become muslim extremists. We hate America.  I admit it all.  the secret's out.

If your best friend murders someone and you keep them in your house and feed them yet not report them you are just as guilty. It's called Aiding and Abedding a murderer. Same applies for Saddam.

Just referring to your mention of Iraq being a minor player when clearly they weren't.

You are disparaging animals.

The New York Times is the 'bible' of the liberal media.

There description of the depraved murderers as 'militants' reflects a widespread 'mind set' in the liberal media.

The NYT, always known for truth in journalism. Smiley

I put it here because this is wear it would get noticed.  And, what was the left's reaction to Nick Berg?  "I was Bush's fault because we shouldn't have been there".

Most people argued no such thing.  Gawdamnit, stop generalizing unless it's true.

Besides, this guy was taken in Saudi Arabia.

Most Lefties don't think we should be in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is g evil. They had Osama Bin Laden and 15 of the 19 hijackers. They have about the worst justice system in the world. Women are far more free in Iraq than Saudi Arabia.

Gentleman, we attacked the wrong country.

Due time, due time. Iran is next as it appears they want a confrontation with us.

I still think the best way to handle Iran is to support the groups that are already in the country, that are discontented with the current regime.  I think Iran is a house of cards, all we need to do is support the rebels and thatr government will come crashing down.

Super, off topic but my daughter loves the picture of that rabbit. Smiley Can I steal it? Smiley

I saw it many months ago.  I wanted to use it in a Nym90 ad for the fantasy forums so I googled "pancake rabbit."

What was the ad?
