Pshaw, I believe you have a misconception of the Republicans.  In any case, I think the whole idea of 'contributing to society' is nonsense, since contribution is such a subjective concept, and society is clearly a heirarchy designed to benefit only its very topmost members.  Those who work hard might as well be proud of their 'contribution to the owning class' rather than the deceptive word society.

Please, if everyone had that attitude, we'd still be digging roots out of caves.
