The argument "health of the mother" is almost an excuse with modern medical procedures. Many many ailments with a baby or the mother can be cured through surgery within the uterus.

No, most rapes are from offenders outside the victims family.

Incest CAN be a form of rape, but incest itself does not necessarily make rape. Example - an adult brother and adult sister consentually have sex. It's incest, it's sick, it's unnatural, but it isn't rape.

So if it was consentual why would the woman want to abort? I agree it is sick but unnatural..I think thats going to far.

at the moment, I'm about 7 miles from the Al state line in Lowndes County, MS.  nearest big city is birmingham (circa 2 hours)

DeKalb County, about a half hour's drive from Ft. Payne (home of country music group Alabama).

I'm about as far from the GA line as you are from MS, which is good, because gas in GA is about a dime cheaper than it is around here.

It all depends on your philosophical view on where life begins.  Pro-choice people say that philosophical choice is up to the individual while pro-life people say it's obvious and should be enforced by the government (like the spin?).  Few pro-choicers think abortion is good.

The whole 'partial birth' abortion fuss is just a political ploy to get votes and advance the agenda of eliminating all abortion.  If an early abortion is a private matter, than so is a later one.
