Anyone who ran in either the Dem or Pub (mind the pun) primaries.

1972 - Wallace, despite the incident
1976 - Byrd, followed by Wallace and Moonbeam
1980 - Teddy, followed by Moonbeam. Awful choices on the Pub side thus far.
1984 - Jackson. Glenn might be interesting too, if only for his background.
1988 - Obviously Uncle Joe, though there are a few decent choices on the Pub side this time - Robertson, Kemp and Haig.
1992 - Moonbeam again; Clinton is a tad too smarmy. Buchanan would be good for an argumentative mood.
1996 - Dornan, followed by Buchanan and Keyes. The rest of the Pubs would put one in a deep sleep pretty quickly.
2000 - I was going to stick with the cliche and say Dubya, but then I remembered that CAIN ran briefly in this cycle.
2004 - Sharpton, followed by Dean and Dubya.
2008 - Grandpa Mike, followed by Uncle Joe.
2012 - CAIN or Perry would be fun; Gingrich if wanting a more intellectual evening.
2016 - Sanders or TRUMP.
