Anyway, Palin is the perfect candidate except for her utter lack of appeal to non-activist Republicans...  She's probably worse than the mirror of Dean (which state is bigger, by the way, Vermont or Alaska?).

Nice irony.

At least Vermont is in a politically-homogeneous part of America. It and its neighbors hold 50 electoral votes (NY, NH, MA), and is close to states with another 14 (ME, RI, CT).  Alaska is next to two countries that don't vote in US elections.
