Democrats:

Columbus -- swing state. Missed in 2016.
Indianapolis -- if Obama could win Indiana in 2008....
Birmingham --the Detroit of the South.
St. Louis -- strongly-Democratic city in a tough state for Democrats.
New York City -- allegedly the turf of Donald Trump.

Republicans:

Las Vegas -- infamous as a Den of Iniquity. Heavily-Democratic city, and it would attract lots of protesters who could get there easily with cheap flights from California.

Republicans would be wiser to pick a place in which there might be fewer protesters -- Tulsa?
