The GOP party needs to die. its too much 1950s

The 1950's Republican party supported civil rights and invested in infrastructure. And Eisenhower warned of the dangers of the military-industrial complex. I'd take them over this GOP any day.

Agreed. At this I consider President Obama being closer to what Eisenhower would probably do today than any high-profile Republican would be. Eisenhower was basically a conservative but also a stickler for process and the authority for the courts.
 

1950s is too charitable for the Republican Party today. 1920s, maybe...
