"Soliciting donations as a political candidate from people who stand to benefit from your proposed policies" is not "seeking bribes".

How many donors to Biden are heavily invested in EV production?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also, does anyone really believe that Trump (if inaugurated as president for the January 2025-January 2029 term) would choose not to "end Biden Climate policies" in the event that he did not receive those donations? Trump personally may indeed be quite petty, but I doubt he would suddenly adopt views on climate change held by Biden - which he has consistently strongly denounced Biden and other Democrats for holding throughout the entirety of his political career, and which the entirety of both the Republican Party and the "Trump base" (elites, non-elites, ordinary voters, and political operatives alike within both of those groups) strongly and vehemently oppose and consider any Republicans who support those views to be "traitors" - simply out of spite for oil and gas industry executives failing to give him a donation. In the 2016 election, the governments of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and GCC states favored Hillary over Trump as president, but Trump surely did not pursue a pro-Islamic Republic of Iran foreign policy during his first term as POTUS, for the exact same reason why Trump would not pursue to continue Biden's climate policies in his second term even if he does not receive this "bribe."

Perhaps, but most people have enough tact to not be this explicit about it.

Indeed, confound that awful Trump for openly admitting to doing something which is also done, but usually in a more secretive manner, by virtually all other politicians, including the entirety of his opponents. How dare he be so open and honest?
